Starhorse brewer's yeast provides support for irregularities in the digestive tract and boosts the body's defences against infections in the entire gastrointestinal tract. Basically, the horse's organism receives sufficient biotin or produces the vitamin biotin itself. The prerequisites for this are optimal feeding and healthy, functioning intestinal flora. If the intestinal environment is imbalanced - for example due to poor hay quality - a biotin deficiency can occur as a result of feeding, which can lead to hoof, skin and hair problems. Starhorse Biotin Plus consists of the vitamin biotin, zinc and methionine to promote hoof elasticity, the strengthening or firmness of the hoof wall and the hoof sole in the best possible way.

The biotin used in Biotin Plus has the highest possible purity of 98.5%. This corresponds to the best possible food standard. Biotin Plus also contains pure organic zinc (zinc chelate) instead of conventional zinc oxide. The maximum achievable quality of the ingredients at the highest quality level allows for maximum success, despite the low feeding quantities, with feeding only 3 times a week.

For hoof problems, it is important to feed Biotin Plus continuously over a period of approx. 8-12 months (depending on the breed of horse). This allows the hoof to grow back evenly throughout the entire horn area from the hoof crown downwards, making it stronger and more resistant overall.

Des Weiteren können durch Keimbelastung, sowie durch die enthaltenen toxischen (giftigen) Stoffe, wie z.B. Schwermetalle und Umweltgifte, gesundheitliche Probleme auftreten.
