St. Hippolyt Equimall forte is a concentrated, liquid malt-yeast extract made from five different types of malt, fine herbs and lysed yeast to stimulate the appetite.
Malt has been known for centuries as an appetite-stimulating tonic and also offers optimum support in horse nutrition for improved performance, increased appetite and a more attractive appearance.

How malt is produced
After germination, the controlled germinated grain is dried. During this germination process, special enzymes are formed in high concentration and activity, which metabolise nutrients. The enzymes convert the grain's reserve substances into soluble substances that help the germ to grow. The resulting green malt is made storable through the drying process while fully preserving the enzyme activity. After an elaborate drying process, the typical roasted flavour of malt is produced.

Extract from the finest malt varieties
For Equimall forte, five different types of malt are crushed and "mashed" with water. This slowly tempered process produces numerous nutrients, vital and active substances with the help of released enzymes. In addition to highly nourishing maltose compounds, primary flavourings, various volatile organic acids, polyphenols, cleavage products from protein compounds and nucleotides are produced.

Herbs, enzymes and antioxidants
The added spices and herbs provide a special flavour and, together with the active malt enzymes, aid digestion. Equimall forte contains a range of natural phenolic compounds with a high antioxidant effect. These promote the protection of the heart, muscles, blood vessels, skin and nervous system.

A purely natural product
In contrast to conventional malt beer, which is mixed with sugar, caramelised sugar and carbon dioxide, Equimall forte is a pure natural product, free from alcohol. The dark colour and sweet taste come from the high malt concentration. The development of further vital substances is favoured by the addition of liquid brewer's yeast. Following this process, water is gently removed at a low temperature. In this way, the entire process prevents premature spoilage. This means that the product can be kept without preservatives. Due to the removal of water, Equimall forte is concentrated and filled into a 700g squeeze bottle. Equimall forte, which is particularly rich in natural B vitamins, is also suitable for use in cases of damage to the intestinal flora and poor performance.
