Product information "Marstall Gastro Müsli 20kg"
Marstall Gastro was developed according to the latest scientific findings for horses with sensitive stomachs or stomach problems. In addition, nervous and thin horses also benefit from the grain-free, stomach acid buffering and at the same time optimally digestible recipe. The molasses-free muesli is very palatable, as horses with stomach problems are often fussy.
Gastro is the gentle build-up feed for horses with sensitive stomachs.
Thanks to Allgäu hay fibres and soft Timothee chaff, Gastro has a high structural content. This stimulates chewing activity and thus promotes the formation of saliva. Together with the added bicarbonate, this buffers the stomach acid. The grain-free recipe without molasses also helps to avoid extreme acidity in the stomach.
Grape marc adds polyphenols to marstall Gastro, while antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids provide additional support. Mannan oligosaccharides and ß-glucans support a healthy gastrointestinal environment by promoting the natural biofilm on the intestinal mucosa, supporting the immune system and binding mycotoxins. They also have a prebiotic effect. The high content of small intestine-digestible protein in this stomach muesli supports the muscles and helps thin stomach patients in particular to regain more body mass.
As stress and stomach problems often go hand in hand, Gastro extra contains magnesium. Not only nervous horses benefit from this, as magnesium is also important for relaxing the muscles.

Light work: approx. 400 g per 100 kg of weight/day
Medium labour: approx. 500 g per 100 kg calf/day
Heavy work: approx. 650 g per 100 kg of weight/day
For hasty eaters, horses with feed envy, dental problems etc. we recommend feeding Gastro-Muesli soaked(e.g. 1 litre Gastro-Muesli + 1 litre warm or cold water, leave to infuse for 15 minutes).
1 litre of marstall Gastro-Muesli = approx. 380 g
