Thanks to Allgäu hay fibres and soft Timothee chaff, Gastro has a high structural content. This stimulates chewing activity and thus promotes the formation of saliva. Together with the added bicarbonate, this buffers the stomach acid. The grain-free recipe without molasses also helps to avoid extreme acidity in the stomach.

Grape marc adds polyphenols to marstall Gastro, while antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids provide additional support. Mannan oligosaccharides and ß-glucans support a healthy gastrointestinal environment by promoting the natural biofilm on the intestinal mucosa, supporting the immune system and binding mycotoxins. They also have a prebiotic effect.
